From the outset, the client’s expectations were clear: a high-performance, future-focused space that would reflect their brand, support the needs of their growing teams, and inspire both clients and staff alike. Key drivers in the brief included acoustic excellence, timeless materiality, and functional flexibility, all within a tight delivery window.

The Melbourne team’s understanding of the corporate fitout landscape, particularly in live building environments, was instrumental in winning the project. Our introduction came via our valued partnership with interior design studio, Linear.

The fitout scope included full demolition and construction: bespoke joinery, ergonomic work points, high-performance acoustic partitions, and premium furniture, and of course, the jewel of the space, the Atkar batten ceiling, a refined architectural feature that brings warmth and rhythm to the interior.

Throughout delivery, the project ran like clockwork, a credit to our Melbourne team’s thoughtful planning, open lines of communication, and consistent collaboration with consultants, subcontractors, and the client. One key milestone was the early handover of the comms room, which was critical to the client's tech setup and integrated into our program with care.

Given the live building context, our team implemented clever solutions like a purpose-built MDF cutting room to minimise disruption, a simple but effective strategy that kept noise under control for surrounding tenancies.
