Rest Super
Retail Employees Superannuation Trust (REST) engaged MPA to construct their new End of Trip Facilities at 717 Bourke Street in Melbourne.
The underground carpark was converted into a 1,200spam high-end facility with showers, change rooms, 500 lockers, 172 bike racks and two yoga spaces.
A classic black and white palate has been used, highlighting the raw wooden materials and gold finishing. Using wood for the locker fronts transformed the simple storage units into a unique feature that wraps around the space.
Due to the facility being underground, large mirrors and stage lighting give the illusion of natural light and space. Additionally, tiled planters frame the yoga area to add a pop of greenery and colour.
The new End of Trip Facility will help attract and retain the best tenants where premium facilities and finishes are expected.
