Event Cinemas - Tuggerah

Event Hospitality & Entertainment engaged MPA to refurbish their Tuggerah cinema following previously completed projects working on upgrades and fitouts of their theatres.

The VMAX Theatre, adjacent Lounge Bar and Lounge, fitout of the two new Gold Class theatres along with the refurbishment of the existing Candy Bar & Concourse at Event Cinemas Tuggerah meets the high standards seen throughout Event locations.

The unique Gold Class bar and lounge area feature high quality joinery lining across all wall panels with large circular mirrors and LED halos, creating a sophisticated space to enjoy a drink before a movie.

The lounge has an exposed ceiling expanding up to 15m high with feature pendant lights dropping from above. This not only saved in building costs and construction time but provides a striking architectural affect. Additionally, the exposed concrete floor finish and custom-made rug adds to this affect.

MPA completed a Value Management process prior to the final contract sum being finalised, to ensure Event’s budget was met.
