Working with Hassel and engaged early in the process, we successfully delivered the refresh of Holding Redlich's existing workplace in Sydney.
Holding Redlich - Sydney
Holding Redlich is a large national commercial law firm with offices in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane and Cairns. With more than 500 people, including 70 partners, they are one of Australia’s leading law firms.
In August 2022, we successfully delivered the refresh of Holding Redlich's existing workplace in Sydney, ensuring the design was in-line with their offices in other states. We worked with Hassell to utilise the unique features of the base building to maximise the design outcomes.
This included the double height ceiling (6.8m) and voids on level 67, as well as the existing pool on level 67, which previously was their storage room has now turned into a café/ breakout area. We faced a number of challenges, including issues with water leaks from the roof resulting in our team having to stop works on level 67 until the leaks were rectified.
Despite this, the project and site teams maintained open communication with the PM, client and consultant team about the progress of works, and the status of the challenges we faced, and were able to deliver a seamless project that handed over on time and on budget.
Following our successful management of the Sydney Holding Redlich Office fitout, we were appointed to deliver their Melbourne office fitout located in 500 Bourke St, which is multi-level (across three floors) with an interconnecting staircase. Through early engagement, we worked with the same team from Sydney, meaning we understand their processes and successes.

It was MPA’s foresight, commitment to delivering great value for money and ”finger on the pulse” approach that directly contributed to the project’s timely and cost-effective completion.
This project for Holding Redlich was the latest in a 20-year collaborative relationship with MPA, the result of people who are great at what they do, are enjoyable to be around, share a common set of values and a determination to always do what is right for the client.”
