Afterpay engaged MPA to build their modern workplace which encourages collaboration in the newly sought-after Queen and Collins building within the centre of Melbourne’s banking district.
Afterpay - Melbourne
Afterpay engaged MPA to create a modern space which encourages collaboration among the staff in all four Levels of the new Melbourne location in the newly refurbished Queen and Collins building within the centre of Melbourne’s banking district.
The iconic building reflects the spirit of the client, so this unique fitout stands in line with Afterpay’s character. The four-floor fitout consists of three back-of-house workfloors and a client floor, including two interconnecting stairs, bespoke brand defining joinery and signage, and a breathtaking tiled screen of 36 TVs and tiered seats forming the All Hands Forum.
Our team who worked on this project have extensive knowledge of the building, through previous projects. It was during this refurbishment works that we were able to provide invaluable insight into the challenges of the building.
Through the ECI process, we were able to de-risk the project for Afterpay, providing cost assurance, and the experience of senior team members provided a smooth client experience during a COVID impacted time.
Our site team worked with the base-build contractor throughout the project, including co-ordination of their ongoing works to the terraces towards the completion of the project.
