Baker McKenzie, a law firm that embraces new ideas and emerging technologies, engaged us to fitout their new office space in Barangaroo.

Extending across three levels, the project features high-end finishes, curved glass and an interconnecting staircase joining all three levels.

The award-winning space features reception and waiting areas, multi-functional meeting rooms and boardrooms, a café and commercial kitchen facilities.

Steering away from individual offices, the staff area incorporates open plan workstations, collaborative areas, flexible zone spaces and critical rooms, all with a strong emphasis on quality and high-end finishes.

We worked closely with all stakeholders to ensure the project met all budget and time factors, whilst also meeting the client’s expectations.

Hassell Studio's innovative design for the project included a standout feature: the 'wave wall', spanning the entire front-of-house area.

Initially considered a challenging task, we collaborated closely with Hassell to refine the concept and develop prototypes. Despite challenges with prototypes and budget constraints, our creative solution involved engaging a specialist plasterer to craft moulds and bespoke finishes, successfully realising the desired outcome.

Our solution not only delivered Hassell's ambitious design vision but also resulted in a significant cost savings within the project timeline
