A design and construct project aimed at providing staff with a better experience to attract more team members back to the office.

NIB Newcastle

We were appointed to refurbish their existing tenancy floors to attract staff back to the office while providing them with a better user experience. Flexible spaces were incorporated to allow different uses of a space with some incorporating customised joinery and AV.

The early engagement enabled us to provide a design that aligned the client brief while meeting the proposed budget. The design was also completed inhouse working closely with the delivery team.

The NIB brand was featured throughout the new workspaces through colour, texture, corporate graphics and incorporated social sustainability.

A branded cafe enhances the social engagement of the staff and creates a more collaborative work environment. A warm and welcoming cafe as evident through the selection of materials - intricate tiles, lighting and joinery.

Where possible, existing furniture and materials were reused/re-purposed, green products were utilised and indigenous suppliers.

This project had difficult elements to deliver a successful outcome. The team were based in Sydney, working closely with subcontractors who were supervising the site and the size of the project. With all these difficult elements we were still able to provide a high end finish, that gave the client a real wow factor when we handed over. This is a credit to our subcontractors, designers and project team.
